Sorry, your profession is no longer needed: lessons learnt from industry 4.0 innovations at the Hannover Messe 2018

Any idea about the future, which new technologies will bring? Innovations bring the fastest changes at the labour market we have ever seen. There are hundreds professions, which did not exist 5 years ago, such as Innovation Manager, Knowledge Manager, Digitalisation Executive, Blockchain Consultant etc. They all are the products of the new digital era. However, the most progressive industry digitalisation fair Hannover Messe showed last month, that there are many usual professions, which soon will not be needed anymore. Prepare yourself: the mid 21th century will force you to do more intellectual work and spend more time by the computer. Here are some professions, for which technologies have already found proper substitutes:

Thought for the day

Just today I understood that more than 10 years later I came back to develop the region, which granted me my knowledge of the German language during a school exchange program when I was 15…I did not even think about moving to another country at that point..

We all pay the price – sometimes in a very unexpected way. I can only hope that I will be a good return on investment=))

Thought for the day

The competitions between men and between women are different. Men compete with each other: who has the best job, who has the most expensive car, who has the most beautiful girlfriend…They search for motivation to be better than they are, better than the others may become. Have you ever seen a man putting his efforts into a 3-months die-for-a-cake diet just to look like Ms. Perfect in his OLD bikini? “When I was 19, my weight was 53 kg!”, “When I was 22, I had no wrinkles!”, “When I was 30, I could wear shorter skirts!” A woman is competing not just with others – to be better, stronger, slimmer, smarter – she is competing with herself in the future AND herself in the past. And this is the game she will only lose.

And when I was 30…and when I was 40…and when you were a little baby, my dear, you had no complexes at all!!

Cheers,

Your Russianladyabroad

Thought for the day

As a matter of fact, Russians have a huge problem with construction of residential complexes. Very often you give the first investment for a new house, which will be never built (fly-by-night companies). Or your developer gets bankrupt because he made wrong calculations. Or you are lucky and you get your flat (finally!) – but most parameters are wrong, therefore you go to the court and lose the fight, as it appears that your papers were falsified..

Paying at least 10% for the mortgage and not getting ANY flat at all became a nightmare for Russians. Have a look (using Google translate) at a black humor website , which is showcasing how a usual “flat of your dreams” may look like.
