Reputation of Russian women in the world: how to use if rules apply, what to do if you don’t comply

In Russia, I was a “strong 5 from 10” type. Small, curvy, well educated, with many interests in various areas, I was not in the centre of attention.  Surprisingly, this has changed once I moved abroad – but not necessarily for the best. This article will be a summary of stories from some countries, which shows, how men around the world are fixed on the idea of “Russian brides”, and how to deal with that.

Your “abroad” is guaranteed: work&study agencies vs. your own way

Looking for more security, political stability, financial opportunities, better healthcare systems, Russians are ready to invest an impressive amount of money in an opportunity to move to another country. As Russians get less and less satisfied with the life in the country, the amount of agencies promising an almost guaranteed place in summer schools, universities, companies etc. grows as well. This article will be concentrated on pros and contras of working with “work&study aboard” agencies. What can you expect from them? When are their services pointless? What should you look at by yourself when preparing a big change in your life? Let’s talk about it openly.

Thought for the day

I happened to be a very bad coach, as I have little tolerance to young healthy people who try to name me all the obstacles preventing them from reaching their dreams.

Remember the very last time you were sick. You broke your leg or you got a flu and felt very hopeless. Do you remember how good you felt about the days when you were healthy? Like you could change the whole world just by being healthy again? It disappeared the very day you went back to work. Your 1500 reasons for not changing this and not doing that were back again.

A “usual” healthy person with one pair of leg, one pair of hands and one pair of eyes can do anything and everything with his life. The resources, such as money and time, are ready for you to earn them. The one, who wants it, will find 1000 opportunities; the one who doubts, will find 1000 excuses.

The Power of Positivity has presented a unique video on how a grandmother helped her blind granddaughter to get a university degree, when no books are available for blind people. I hope, they don’t mind that I publish their video on my page 😉

Disabled people have much better chances to get a degree and a job in Europe. Moreover, in countries like Germany there will be financial advantages of hiring a disabled person.

In Russia, we think that we have less disabled people, because our women get pregnant earlier and bear healthier children. Nope, my dear, that’s because they have nowhere to go and no sources to go out…

Power of Positivity

Thought for the day

If I could change one paragraph in the legislation, I would force every smoker to spend one week with a lung cancer patient. Just because people don’t associate those horrible pictures on the cigarette packs with their future. Just because they think that their dangerous passion, which one day will lead to a number of months, which they still have to live, affects only them. Like it will have no impact on their families, who will need to accompany them through the months of fight, chemical therapies, loss of hair and appetite and loss of interest in life. One will never write on a cigarette pack that smokers will see their own lungs on their handkerchiefs and will not be able to sleep because of the cough.

Smoking is egoistic. The tobacco companies, catching your attention with pictures of luxury life and cars, forget to tell that the warranty is limited. The warranty for your own life..

Think twice. Quit smoking at once.

Thought for the day

The competitions between men and between women are different. Men compete with each other: who has the best job, who has the most expensive car, who has the most beautiful girlfriend…They search for motivation to be better than they are, better than the others may become. Have you ever seen a man putting his efforts into a 3-months die-for-a-cake diet just to look like Ms. Perfect in his OLD bikini? “When I was 19, my weight was 53 kg!”, “When I was 22, I had no wrinkles!”, “When I was 30, I could wear shorter skirts!” A woman is competing not just with others – to be better, stronger, slimmer, smarter – she is competing with herself in the future AND herself in the past. And this is the game she will only lose.

And when I was 30…and when I was 40…and when you were a little baby, my dear, you had no complexes at all!!

Cheers,
